Nuxway Technology at the Web Summit Rio 2025

Bolivian innovation at one of the most important tech events in Latin America. From April 27 to 30, 2025, with Nuxway Technology we had the honor of participating as an Alpha startup at Web Summit Rio, held at the Riocentro Convention Center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

This recognition came thanks to our commitment to innovation, web development, and digital transformation, within our Innovation & Development Area — a space that functions as an incubator for ideas and SaaS projects driven by our own team.

💡 NuxCaller: Serverless innovation for business communications During the event, we presented our project NuxCaller, a SaaS demo created within the Web Innovation and Development area. NuxCaller develops serverless applications that integrate Unified Communications (UC) through APIs, applying innovative methods to optimize business communication processes.

This approach aims to demonstrate how serverless architectures can reduce costs, increase efficiency, and open new possibilities for companies seeking to transform their internal and external communications.

Our team — made up of electronic, telecommunications, and systems engineers, along with university interns contributing through their thesis projects — was key to bringing this proposal to life.

🌍 An experience that unites technology, learning, and networking Web Summit Rio 2025 was a meeting that combined business, learning, and technology, bringing together over 1,000 startups from around the world. The atmosphere was filled with energy: keynote conferences, product exhibitions, talks about the future of technology, and networking spaces that fostered new connections and alliances.

🔹 Highlights • Startup booth day: A day dedicated to showcasing our technological solutions, where visitors got to explore NuxCaller, our Proof of Concept (PoC). • Speed Networking: Brief but strategic encounters that helped create connections between startups, investors, and tech companies, generating opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

🤝 Connections and inspiration During the event, we discovered projects and innovations from the Web 4.0 ecosystem, as well as solutions using microservers, blockchain, and decentralized computing, like those developed by Dexnet, a pioneer in distributed internet.

We also explored emerging trends in fintech, the evolution of the SaaS model, applied AI, robotics, AI agents, health tech, and technological humanization.

Each talk and demo reaffirmed that innovation has no borders, and that Bolivia has an important role to play on this global stage.

🐙 The Nuxway octopus: symbol of our innovative spirit Our mascot, the Nuxway octopus, was also in the spotlight.More than just a visual figure, it represents the multitasking engineer — adaptable, quick to learn, and capable of solving problems creatively with multiple tools.

The octopus embodies the essence of Nuxway: versatility, innovation, and constant action. It’s the image that inspires us to keep exploring, creating, and connecting ideas that transform the future.

🌎 Conclusion: a step toward global expansion Participating in Web Summit Rio 2025 was much more than attending an event; it was a transformative experience that strengthened Nuxway Technology’s position as a company committed to innovation, young talent development, and the creation of impactful technological solutions.
